 Jennifer
Tilly, (Jennifer
E Chan)
was born in Harbor City
LA, and first made the limelight
through her acting career
during her teenage years
and made several guest appearances
in the Hill Street Blues,
The Fabulous Baker Boys,
and Liar Liar and a voice
over for the hit show Family
Guy.
Her poker career started
in 2005 when he she won
the 2005 Ladies No Limit
Texas Holdem Event and
finished 1st out of 600
other players taking home
over $158,000. Although
this was her first big
win and WSOP bracelet,
much of the credit was
given to her then and current
boyfriend Phil Laak also
referred to as the Unabomber
who coached Tilly for the
event.
Later
that year, Tilly went on
to win the WPT Ladies Invitational
Tournament. She has made
several television appearances
which include GSN Poker
Royale, and Poker Superstars.
Even though she has been
nominated for an Academy
Awar, this actress turned
poker player, prefers to
play poker more than her
previous career. She was
quoted as saying "I'm
hooked on poker. I'm not
going to stop playing until
I lose all my money."
